Martin Guevara (he/him) is an artist and designer based in Los Angeles, California. In his practice, Martin works with video, XR (VR/AR), and projection mapping to investigate the peripheries of the everchanging human-machine relationship. In recent projects, like Please Listen Carefully, he uses “performative data collection”, which re-enacts cybernetic input-output processes via toll-free number. Other projects of his include themes of surveillance, cyborg-feminism, machine vision and anti-monumentalism.
